The Ludo Frevel Crystallography Scholarships were established in 1991 to encourage promising graduate students to pursue crystallographically-oriented research. Since the program’s inception, sixty-three scholarships have been awarded, totaling over $134,000. These awards are made possible through both private and corporate contributions.

ICDD would like to express its sincere appreciation to the following contributors for their generosity during the past year:

The generosity of these individuals and their commitment to the field of crystallography will assist and encourage promising graduate students for years to come.

If you would like to make a donation, please contact ICDD at www.icdd.com. One hundred percent of all donations to the scholarship fund are applied to student funding, as defined by the program’s charter. Volunteer scientists annually review all proposals and ICDD administers the fund at no cost to the fund. The Ludo Frevel Scholarship Program is a registered non-profit charity and all donations are tax-deductible.

Attention: Aspiring crystallographers! Applications for the year 2006 awards must be received by ICDD no later than 1 November 2005.
