|Press Release 012309/176 - 2009 Ludo Frevel Crystallography Scholarship Recipients|
The ICDD Ludo Frevel Crystallography Scholarship Committee has selected ten recipients for the 2009 Scholarship Program. These recipients were selected, on a competitive basis, from forty-five commendable applications received by the ICDD Scholarship Committee. The recipients are:

Dejan-Krešimir Bučar, University of Iowa, Iowa City, IA, USA
Amado Guloy, Northwestern University, Evanston, IL, USA
E-Wen Huang, University of Tennessee, Knoxville, TN, USA
Andrey Ivankin, Illinois Institute of Technology, Chicago, IL, USA
Hui Li, Chinese Academy of Sciences, Beijing, P.R. China
Christian Long, University of Maryland, College Park, MD, USA
Mary Louie, California Institute of Technology, Pasadena, CA, USA
Anna-Gay Nelson, Auburn University, Auburn, AL, USA
The ICDD will present each of these students with a check in the amount of $2,500 to assist in the continuation of studies in their selected fields of crystallographic research.
