Sants at a special PPXRD rate of 110 € for a single room and 122 €
for a double room, plus 7% VAT per room, per night. A complimentary buffet
breakfast is included in the room rate. Please mention PPXRD-4 when making
your reservations to receive the special room rate.

Please note the hotel cancellation policy:
Reservations may be cancelled without penalty until 5 days prior to the arrival
date. After this date, all cancellations will be charged a one-night’s
stay cancellation fee.

VISAS
Visas may be needed for travel from various countries to Spain.
Please consult your local Spainish embassy or consulate or
the consulates in Barcelona to determin if you need a visa
to attend PPXRD-4.
By Air
Barcelona Airport is located 12 kilometers south of the city of Barcelona
and only 15 minutes from the Barceló Hotel Sants. This airport operates
to and from most major European cities as well as many international cities.
The Barceló Hotel Sants is easily accessible from the airport by
taxi, train, bus and car.
By Bus
The Sants Bus Station, Pl. Països Catalans, s/n (08014) is conveniently
located directly below the Barceló Hotel Sants next to the central
railway station.
By Train
The best way to get to the hotel from the airport is by train. The fee
is only 3 € each way. One of the city’s
main railway stations Barcelona Sants Station, Pl. Països Catalans,
s/n (08014) is located directly below the Barceló Hotel
Sants. This station accommodates many international passenger trains as
well as transportation to the Barcelona Airport.
By Car

and related products and services is planned during the symposium and during
the evening

session and reception. Exhibits are limited to tabletop exhibits. Organizations

Opportunities for sponsorship are available to increase your presence at
PPXRD. These opportunities include sponsoring or co-sponsoring the evening
reception and poster session or daily coffee breaks. The sponsor of the

Cancellation Policy:
A 50% refund will be issued, if the cancellation is received by the ICDD in writing
no later than 21 January 2005. No refunds will be issued for cancellations
received after that date, however, you may transfer your registration to a
colleague with advance notice.
