Top Selling Pharmaceuticals
(PDF-2 Release 2016, PDF-4+ 2016, PDF-4/Organics 2017)

High volume commercial pharmaceuticals, not previously in the public literature, have been identified and characterized through collaborative efforts of the ICDD, Argonne National Laboratory, and Illinois Institute of Technology. This is an ongoing project. In just the last two years, >30% of all high sales volume pharmaceuticals have been analyzed at ambient temperatures. These new reference patterns are continually added to all PDF databases.

New Capabilities: New subclasses for many pharmaceuticals

  • Narcotics are defined as listed by the International Narcotics Control Board Yellow List (Schedules I-IV). Unless specified by the above reference all polymorphic or chemically modified forms of the narcotic should be included in the subfile.
  • Psychotropics are defined as listed by the International Narcotics Control Board Green List (Schedules I-IV). Unless specified by the above reference all polymorphic or chemically modified forms of the psychotropic should be included in the subfile.
