ICDD > ICDD Profile > 2002 March Meeting Schedule 18-22 March 2002 TO: MEMBERS INTERNATIONAL CENTRE FOR DIFFRACTION DATA, SUBCOMMITTEE MEMBERS, TASK GROUP MEMBERS AND INVITED GUESTS Committees, Subcommittees and Task Groups met in accordance with the following schedule. Agendas are listed for most of the meetings. Below is an overview of the meetings scheduled for the week.
The Annual Meeting of Members was scheduled for the afternoon of 21 March 2002. See detailed listing of Meetings here Wednesday morning from 8:30-10:00 a.m. in Conference Room B, the ICDD staff presented several topics on "Web Services." There were presentations on ICDD sponsored Web sites, a prototype internet editorial system for Grants-in-Aid, and a demonstration of a prototype web based RDB. These are current or future ICDD services, where we solicited feedback from the membership. The schedule also included two separate meetings for the Long Range Planning Committee. The meeting on Wednesday morning was open to the full membership. The forum was designed to communicate and obtain feedback on the many activities of this committee, with special focus on future new products. The Thursday afternoon meeting was a closed working session for committee members, board members, and technical committee regional co-chairs. The Best Western Concordville Hotel was selected as the Host Hotel. A block of rooms for attendees was reserved at a special meeting rate of $103.68 (which includes tax), at the Best Western.
