PDF-4/Organics

PDF-4/Organics is designed for materials analyses in the pharmaceutical and law enforcement fields. Being a PDF-4 database, this database has all the capabilities described in the PDF-4+ section plus several additional capabilities described in the following tutorials.

starHow to Analyze Drugs

Using Organics Subfiles

Polymorph Analysis

Organics Results - Formulation Analyses

Data Mining - Resolving Pharmaceutical Polymorphic Perplexities

Library of amorphous Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (API)
PDF-4/Organics contains experimental digital powder patterns of non-crystalline materials including active pharmaceutical ingredients, polymers and excipients. Libraries of non-crystalline reference patterns can be used for identification and crystallinity measurements when the material is stable and pattern is reproducible.
