Current Research Using the Powder Diffraction File™

ICDD PDF® database products are used in materials characterization research across fields such as energy, mining, biomedical, aerospace, ceramics, cultural history, and pharmaceuticals. Release 2022 of the Powder Diffraction File contains 1,076,439 unique material data sets. Each data set contains diffraction, crystallographic, and bibliographic data, as well as experimental, instrument, and sampling conditions, and select physical properties in a common standardized format.
